Larger Trees Equal Safer Neighborhoods

A news story from KGW news last week reported that larger street and yard trees are related to lower crime statistics than smaller trees. According to the article, “Forester Geoffrey Donovan says large trees may be a signal to crooks that a neighborhood is well cared for, making it more likely criminals will be caught.”

What a great incentive to make sure Concordia’s trees are large and healthy!
